Winter Wonderland Stencils

I was commissioned by Chronicle Books to create this Winter Wonderland stencil book. It includes 20 reusable stencils ready for decorating anything festive! 

  

From an old Notebook

Here is another recent painting which was inspired by a doodle I found in an old notebook of mine.

Golden Beetle

Here is a painting based on a golden beetle I found on a recent trip to Spain. The painting was also inspired by an 18th Century lace handkerchief.

Harap Alb

I created this illustration of a Romanian fairy tale- the Harap Alb for Slovakian publishers Jandl. This illustration will be part of a collaborative book aimed at increasing children's literacy in Romania.

Shire "Responsibility Matters"

I created three illustrations for Shire's publication "Responsibility Matters". The features I illustrated are Access to medicine and disease awareness, Promatine, Doing the right thing and Learning the ABCs.

Wigtown 2012

I have once again created an illustrated cover for the Wigtown Literature Festival. This year the festival has a night time theme so we chose Barn Owls for the cover.

I was a delight to illustrate Home and Antiques magazine's recent feature on their 50 Best interiors blogs for 2012.

Arrietty's bedroom

Whilst, overall I was a little underwhelmed by the recent Studio Ghibli version of The Borrowers, "Arrietty", I fell deeply in love with Arrietty's bedroom full of giant branches and berries and decorated with found scraps of wallpaper and fabric. Oh, and a carpet made of leaves. Lovely.
